Privacy policy
No tracking or advertising cookies, no analytics tools, no third-party fonts. Our free tools run entirely in your browser – what you type into them is never sent to us. We only process personal data when you email us, use a form or buy a product.

2. Hosting and server logs
This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 101 2nd Street, Suite 400, San Francisco, CA 94105, USA. When you visit a page, Netlify processes technically necessary data (IP address, date and time, requested page, referrer, browser and operating system) in server logs to deliver the site, keep it secure and prevent abuse. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in a secure, stable website). Logs are deleted according to Netlify’s retention schedule. We have a data processing agreement with Netlify; transfers to the US rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
3. Free tools
The recovery path finder, deadline calculator, termination reason decoder, appeal checker, revenue loss calculator, scam checker and risk audit run as JavaScript in your browser. Your answers and any text you paste are processed only on your device and are not transmitted to us or anyone else.
4. Contact form and email
If you write to us, we process the data you provide (name, email address, message and anything you choose to include) to answer you. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual and contractual communication) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (answering general enquiries). The contact form is processed by Netlify Forms (see section 2) and forwarded to our mailbox. Please do not send passwords or other access data – we will never ask for them.
Your message may reveal political opinions, religious beliefs or health information (for example, if your channel covers such topics). Please only share what is necessary. Where we process such data, we do so on the basis of your explicit consent (Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.
5. Purchases
Orders and payments are processed by CopeCart GmbH, Rosenstr. 2, 10178 Berlin, Germany. When you click a purchase button you are taken to CopeCart’s checkout. CopeCart acts as reseller and processes your order and payment data as an independent controller; it passes to us the data needed to deliver the product and handle refunds (name, email address, product, order number). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR. CopeCart’s privacy policy also applies.
6. Recipients and international transfers
Recipients are the service providers named above (hosting and forms, email, payment) and, where legally required, our tax advisers and authorities. Some providers are based in the US; transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR).
7. Retention
We delete enquiries that do not lead to a purchase no later than 12 months after the last contact. Order and invoice records are kept for as long as German law requires (up to 8 or 10 years).
8. Your rights (EU/UK)
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)). You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the authority responsible for us: Die Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz Niedersachsen, Prinzenstraße 5, 30159 Hannover, Germany – or the authority where you live.
9. Notice for US residents
We do not sell or share personal information as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) or similar US state laws, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We collect only the categories described above (identifiers such as name and email, order information and the content of your messages) for the purposes described above. You can request access to or deletion of your personal information by emailing help@channelterminated.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
10. No automated decisions
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR. The results of our free tools are general orientation calculated in your browser.
11. Changes
We update this policy when our services or the law change. The version published here applies. Last updated: October 9, 2026
